Internal Transport in Edinburgh.

 Moving in to Edinburgh...

Lothian buses and Edinburgh Trams are Edinburgh's leading public transport providers. Routes of buses allow customers to travel to most essential places in Edinburgh. Tram has only one line now: taking people from Airport and going through the whole city centre, finishing at St Andrew Square across from Edinburgh Bus station. Tickets are affordable for everyone. Prices started from £1.80 for an adult single ticket and £4.50 for an adult day ticket (this one can be used in both – tram and Lothian buses). There is also an option for a family day ticket which is £9.50 and can be used by two adults and up to 3 children in the city zone only.

Lothian buses timetable is quite big. Usually most used by public buses running every 7-10 minutes but there are some routes which running every 30 minutes or even once per hour. Trams run every 5-7 minutes in peak and evening hours every 10-15 minutes.
